How CVC handles account, review, and enquiry data.

Clinical Vendor Compare processes user, reviewer, vendor, and sponsor information in order to run the platform, verify submissions, moderate content, and support vendor selection workflows.

Data we collect

Account details, session data, review submissions, moderation records, sponsor contact requests, vendor contact requests, sponsor RFP submissions, and related notification logs.

Why we use it

To run accounts, verify reviewers, process and moderate submissions, operate the directory and compare flows, and support sponsor and vendor routes.

Reviewer identity

Public reviewer visibility may be anonymous or limited, but verification and moderation information may still be held privately within the platform.

Data sharing

We may use service providers that help operate hosting, storage, email, alerts, and site infrastructure. We do not treat public reviewer anonymity as a waiver of internal moderation or legal review rights.

Retention

We retain platform and moderation data for as long as reasonably needed for platform operations, trust and safety, auditability, legal response, and business records.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, subject to moderation, legal hold, platform integrity, and regulatory obligations.

Operational note

Some data is retained to protect platform trust.

Even where public review display is anonymous, internal platform records may still need to retain identity, role, evidence, or audit trail information for moderation, complaint handling, fraud prevention, and legal response.

Cross-border handling

Platform infrastructure may involve international data handling.

Where data is stored or accessed across jurisdictions, CVC should apply the relevant transfer and safeguard requirements as part of its operating model.
