Clinical Vendor Compare Governance

Governance

Publication, moderation, and routing decisions stay reviewable.

CVC is positioned as an evidence-first marketplace. This page makes the operating rules explicit so sponsors, vendors, and internal reviewers can see what is allowed onto the live surface and what stays pending review.

Operating controls

What is governed today

This page sets out the policies that govern what is published on the live platform.

Review moderation

Only verified reviews should contribute to score confidence. Unverified inputs can inform follow-up questions but should not raise trust weighting on the visible shortlist surface.

Vendor publication

Profiles may appear with partial proof, but unscored or incomplete entries must remain visibly flagged so sponsors can distinguish review-ready options from intake backlog.

Hard-gate policy

Critical compliance, data integrity, audit-readiness, or governance concerns must remain visible and must not be masked by strong aggregate scoring.

Routing rules

How intake should move through the product

  • Sponsor contact is for shortlist support, compare-board work, or RFP readiness triage.
  • Vendor contact is for profile claims, evidence updates, or qualified visibility review.
  • Sign-in governs access to review submission and account-based routes, and reviewers must be signed in to submit.
  • Homepage compare and proof surfaces may show derived data, but moderation and score provenance must remain visible.

Publication guardrails

When something should not go live

Do not publish a vendor as launch-safe when scoring is still pending, when evidence notes are missing for a claimed recommendation, or when hard-gate posture is unresolved.
